A little while back I posted a quick slideshow from Maddie’s cheerleading session. That day I also brought along my trusty Canon A1 to play with a little film.

I love shooting film…I’m not great at it yet, but I love it. The best part is that it feels like I’m working harder for shots and having to be super selective.

For this I loaded up some TMAX400 and pushed it to 1600 to see what the grain would look like. Then I developed at home with a 1 hour “stand method” (1:100 Rodinal) and scanned on my Epson.
