After we finally got everyone else’s Easter portraits completed, we broke out the tripod and did a few for ourselves. One thing I never realized is that if you want to get the “good” shots, you almost always end up dirty. When you need to be in some of the pictures wearing a tie…well, you’ve got to get creative with the scheduling.
It took a little longer than we wanted, but the kids were troopers. Maddie was a bit sick and was a touch grumpy for the evening…until we got home. Everyone was of course beautiful, but in these Blake really looks like he’s growing up.
Cute family… happy belated Easter!
Cool stuff! You’ve got an adorable fam. It’s just assumed that if I don’t end up dirty after a shoot it probably didn’t go well. :) Glad I’m not the only one.
I love it when photographers take the time to photograph themselves (something we typically forget to do)! Adorable family.
Very nicely played! You have some characters in that family ;-)
You’re right, it can be hard for teenage boys to feel comfortable but he rocked it. I’m sure that has a lot to do with his photographer. :-)
