Throughout 2009 I found myself amazed at all the opportunities presented to me.  It was just over a year ago that I, with urging from my wife, decided to take my photography more seriously.  A choice that made for some difficult times and decisions, but even much more joy in the long run.

From a creative standpoint I feel that even though I see a lot of room for improvement, I truly feel I have progressed such a large margin compared to where I was last year.  My confidence continues to grow with every session.

Professionally our business has seen such a surprising growth.  I say our because my wife tends to be a major part of everything I do in photography. On top of portraiture I was lucky enough to be commissioned for a Philip Morris Agency publication.

A year ago I never imagined that I would already be in this position.  That has me looking into 2010 with such anticipation that I find myself constantly planning, prepping, and testing out new ideas.

My goals for 2010 are lofty and constantly changing. I know for sure that I want to participate in more workshops, photowalks, etc.  I would love to see a small group of photographers come together as a support system of some kind.  To succeed doesn’t mean everyone else has to fail.

Thank you to everyone who’s shown kind words, constructive criticism, and faith in what we’re trying to accomplish.

Happy Holiday’s, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.
