This past week Chrissa and I had a wonderful time doing a family portrait session for the Melton’s. I’ll be honest, it was HOT…but they were real troopers getting through it. Of course Reaghan, their beautiful daughter, wasn’t fazed for one single moment. If we weren’t setting up a specific shot then she was throwing rocks into the water, blazing a trail through the overgrown greenery (which made for great back drops), and just being as cute as she could be.
I’ve really loved using this location (that my wonderful wife found), but I was a bit worried when we arrived. It seemed to have gone from a beautiful field to a full on jungle in just under a month. However, after we got started I thought it really worked out well. Here’s some of my favorites from the session.
