Earlier this week my wife and I got a chance to go shoot a high school softball game. I won’t lie, I was a bit nervous. Fading daylight and fast action don’t exactly mix well in photography.
Overall, I think we got several really nice shots, but I’d LOVE to get to a mid-day game for a shoot (or get that 5D Mark II with the crazy ISO). In post edit I ended up dropping a lot of the color to more of a subdued grayscale and leaving in the maroon color where I could…they are the P.C. Maroons you know?
On the non-photography front though, those PC girls are WILD during their games. They’ve got a chant for anything that can happen during a game.
